Wednesday September 22nd -  Daily Worshiper….. Day 22

Here is another one of my fav songs! The words are like a prayer that turns into a huge praise song! It just comes down to this one point. God is here with us! And if we acknowledge and know that every step we take He is here. He is with you! Jesus is here because of His love for you! When you realize that you too will break out in praise and shout “All that is within me cries, For You alone be glorified: Emmanuel, God with us.”

In Galatians 4:4-7    we read these words “  4 But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.5 God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children.s6 And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, "Abba, Father."s7 Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.”

Praise the lord – He is with you!

Why is it so hard to just give in to the Lord? Why don’t we just trust Him?

Our biggest problem is that we want to UNDERSTAND or know the OUTCOME of the situations we are placed in! And that’s NOT our job to know most of the time! What would happen if we just GAVE in to HIM and just started TRUSTING in Him! Its like we forget that all   HE wants is to be there for us and longing for us to just FOLLOW HIM.

Proverbs 3:5-6

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him,  and he will make your paths straight.

This Scripture is no joking matter! All HE wants is us to trust him, not try to figure it out and just let Him work in our lives.  TRUST!

Sometimes we all feel left out, forgotten or forsaken at some point. People fail us, let us down and just sometimes just leave us. But. But? People let us down, but – but God never lets us down! In John 10:28-29 we read these words….” 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me,29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.s No one can snatch them from the Father's hand.”
I am reminded of Jesus’ words when I hear David Crowder’s song Never Let Go….

Sunday September 26th -  Daily Worshiper….. Day 26

Freedom.  In Galatians 5: 13 “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.” You see some people “get saved” and then think they can go do whatever they want because of what they did. NO! When we are in Christ… we are free from sin – not free to sin! When we become followers of Christ we are to live as Christ did… Love like HE did and Serve like He did… Then we can sing the following song with all of our hearts…Because we will be living it!

 I am NOT a very patient person at all…. Like if there is something I want then it KILLS me to have to wait on it!

There is no wasting time! We need a since of urgency!!!

What if Jesus comes back today!!!! What would I be doing to get ready!!!!

 Matthew 24:36  36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

 Well, that is a concept that we should live by!  

The time really HAS COME to give it all!!!!

 STOP WASTING TIME!!!!! THE TIME IS NOW!!!!!

In Ezekiel 11:19-20 we read God say……  “And I will give them singleness of heart and put a new spirit within them. Ok, so since this is my last entry in this month of writing devo’s for you all; now I come to the last day! And I have saved one of my favorites for last. Why? Well lets look at the lyrics and then I will talk about it…

You see one day…All this will be over and we will see Him. We will rise and be with Him because HE is coming back for you and I that belong to Him! When we look at the Book of Revelation at the last chapter we see the last words of Jesus… and it’s a promise… We read:

Revelation 22:20 “"Yes, I am coming soon!"
